Search for Licence Number of Deemed Licensees

Insurance intermediaries validly registered with a self-regulatory organization (“SRO”) immediately before the commencement of the new regulatory regime on 23 September 2019 are deemed as licensed insurance intermediaries under the new regime ("deemed licensees"). To facilitate these deemed licensees to find the reference number of their insurance intermediary licence under the new regime, a search function is provided. Please note that the registration number issued by the former SROs is no longer in use after the commencement of the new regime on 23 September 2019. When carrying on a regulated activity under the new regime, a licensed insurance intermediary should provide its client with its licence number newly assigned by the Insurance Authority.
