Following the implementation of the Risk-based Capital regime in July 2024, authorized insurers are required to submit a new set of regulatory returns from which the provisional statistics of the Hong Kong insurance industry will be compiled. The disclosure format has been updated. In addition, to ensure a smooth transition to the new regime, general insurers are given an extended deadline for submission from Q3 2024.
