Insurance Authority warns against fraudulent website and social media pages

The Insurance Authority (IA) today (28 March 2025) wishes to alert members of the public to the fraudulent website and social media pages listed below, which purport to be the official website and social media pages of an authorized insurer of Hong Kong, HSBC Life (International) Limited (HSBC). HSBC has confirmed that it has no connection with these fraudulent website and social media pages.

Anyone who has provided personal information through the aforesaid link should contact HSBC at (852) 2583 8000 and report the case to the Hong Kong Police Force.
