The Insurance Authority (IA) today (30 January 2024) wishes to alert members of the public in Hong Kong to a fraudulent website with the domain name of “https://arvudainsurances.com/”. The aforesaid website purports to be the official website of a licensed insurance broker company in Hong Kong, Arvuda Insurance Services Limited (Arvuda). Arvuda has confirmed that it does not operate any official website and has no connection with the fraudulent website.
The case has been reported to the Hong Kong Police Force for further investigation. Anyone who has provided personal information to the aforesaid website or has conducted any insurance transactions through the website should notify Arvuda at [email protected] or (852) 2219 8282, and report the case to the Hong Kong Police Force.
